job summary:

The Test Lead will be responsible for owning and driving end-to-end testing for Healthcare applications with strong focus on Database testing and Power BI reports validation. This is an onshore, customer-facing role, requiring close collaboration with business and technical stakeholders at the customer location, while leading and coordinating testing activities with offshore teams. The role demands strong leadership in defining test strategies, preparing comprehensive test plans, defining testing processes, and eliminating gaps across manual and automation testing.


The Test Lead will work closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts, and Inspire Quality Team to understand Healthcare business workflows, data pipelines, reporting requirements, and quality processes.

Skills and Qualifications:


? 8-10 years of overall experience in software testing with at least 3-5 years in a Test Lead role, preferably in Healthcare or regulated domains.


? Strong domain knowledge of Healthcare systems and data. Preferred to have a person with good understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements such as HIPAA, PHI handling, HL7, and FHIR.


? Proven hands-on expertise in Database testing, including complex SQL queries, data validation, reconciliation, ETL/ELT testing, stored procedures, views, and data transformation logic.


? Strong experience in Power BI testing, including validation of datasets, reports, dashboards, KPIs, calculations, filters, slicers, drill-throughs, refresh schedules, and role-based access control (RBAC).


? Ability to define and implement end-to-end test strategies, test plans, and test approaches covering manual, automation, database, and reporting testing.


? Demonstrated experience in establishing and enforcing testing processes, standards, best practices, and quality gates, ensuring zero gaps in test coverage, traceability, and compliance.


? Experience working in an onshore-offshore delivery model, with strong capability to coordinate, guide, and review work from offshore teams while being customer-facing onsite.


? Exposure to test automation for data and reporting layers, including database automation, data validation frameworks, and regression automation for BI reports.


? Strong defect management skills, including defect triage, root cause analysis, defect trend analysis, and implementation of preventive quality measures.


? Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to provide clear test status, quality metrics, risk assessments, and recommendations to customer leadership.
