Job Title: Engineer, Systems Sr
Location: Reston, VA
Type: Contract to Hire
Compensation: $71/HR
ALTA IT is hiring for a ServiceNow Developer for a health insurance client. The ServiceNow Developer will lead the development and implementation of ServiceNow ITSM solution as well as provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members.
Pay: $71/HR
Must have ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
90% remote
Onsite meetings 4* times a year (Reston or Washington D.C.)
Responsibilities
Lead the development and implementation of ServiceNow solution, including integrations, and workflow automation.
Participate in the design and review of technical solutions and architecture.
Develop user-centric workflows and intuitive interfaces within the ServiceNow platform.
Work closely with project managers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Collaborate with other developers and architects to ensure that solutions are delivered on time and with the highest quality.
Mentor and provide technical guidance to team members.
Identify and resolve technical issues and roadblocks.
Assist in troubleshooting, resolving production issues, and ensuring platform stability.
Troubleshoot and debug issues with existing solutions
Stay current on ServiceNow's best practices, trends, and new functionality.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with other SNOW modules and capabilities, other systems and processes.
Contribute to the development and maintenance of technical documentation.
Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to ensure code quality.
Perform other duties as needed or assigned.
The Skills You'll Bring
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field (preferred).
5+ years of experience as a ServiceNow Developer and Architect.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Experience with Agile development methodologies.
Accomplished with integrating ServiceNow and other systems using APIs or other integration methods.
Adept with JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
Experience with ITIL processes and service management best practices.
