Job Details
Role: QA Automation Engineer (Python) Location: Charlotte, NC / NYC, NY / Atlanta, GA (Hybrid 3 days onsite)
About the Role
We are looking for a QA Automation Engineer with strong Python coding skills. The candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining automation frameworks, creating test scripts, and validating.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain test automation frameworks using Python.
- Automate test cases for Front Office Fixed Income and Derivatives trading applications.
- Collaborate with Dev and QA teams to review requirements, refine user stories, and implement automation.
- Participate in impact assessments for new features and changes.
- Maintain test plans, test cases, test data, and automation scripts in Jira.
- Conduct hands-on testing for complex trade workflows.
- Contribute to CI/CD automation, execution, and reporting.
- Identify, log, and report risks/issues.
Required Skills & Experience
- 10+ years in QA Automation with Python and Selenium WebDriver for automated testing.
- Experience with JUnit or TestNG for test management.
- Strong knowledge of automation frameworks and API/web UI test automation.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum and QE/SDET practices.
- Ability to understand complex trade flows across multiple systems.
- Strong troubleshooting, risk identification, and issue management skills.
