Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Platform Engineer with strong expertise in Databricks, Unity Catalog, Privacera, and Collibra to join our team in Seattle, WA. The ideal candidate will have 10 12 years of experience in data engineering, architecture, and governance, with proven ability to design and operationalize scalable data solutions in hybrid environments.


Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement scalable data architecture leveraging Databricks, Unity Catalog, Privacera, and Collibra.

  • Develop, optimize, and manage ETL data pipelines ensuring integrity, reliability, and quality.

  • Design and maintain data models and schemas incorporating Unity Catalog and Collibra governance practices.

  • Ensure data security and regulatory compliance using Databricks and Privacera s features.

  • Establish robust data governance strategy including standards, metadata management, lineage, and quality practices.

  • Operationalize Machine Learning models within batch and real-time pipelines, ensuring governance alignment.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (data scientists, engineers, analysts) to translate business requirements into scalable solutions.


Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 10 12 years of Data Engineering / Data Platform experience.

  • Strong hands-on expertise with Databricks and Unity Catalog.

  • Knowledge of data governance tools such as Collibra and Privacera.

  • Proven experience in ETL pipeline design, development, and optimization.

  • Strong understanding of data security, compliance, and governance best practices.

  • Experience in operationalizing Machine Learning models in real-time and batch pipelines.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
