Qualifications:
Some course work related to biochemistry, IHC or other related education is required. Bachelors, Masters or other University degree in a related field is highly preferred;
Relevant experience or coursework including testing and the use and operation of laboratory equipment preferred.
Computer skills including the use of Microsoft office suite and understanding of ERP system mechanics.
Ability to multi-task with solid time management skills.
Detail-oriented with the ability to juggle multiple competing priorities.
Self-motivated and a good team player.
Strong written and verbal communication skills are a must.
Overview:
The QC Analyst, Intermediate will be responsible for assisting with production support, and to ensure consistent product quality and compliance with Client policy. This position requires the ability to write accurate specifications, protocols, implement projects and deliver reports in a timely manner. Ensure established standards for safety, quality, quantity, service, and cost standards are maintained and results are delivered against specific goals by effectively planning and organizing.
Duties:
Responsible for performing a variety of duties within the Quality Control Department. Duties may be related to production, materials specification, manufacturing process, and support, test and rework and quality inspection, including training of other Operations employees. Will be required to access information in the QMS site, Agile document site or the enterprise resource planning (ERP) system.
QC Testing: In compliance with GMP, GDP and standard operating procedures, performs quality testing of Client products, including raw materials, in-process material and finished goods in a manufacturing laboratory environment. Stability studies and complaint investigation.
Operate laboratory equipment and accurately record test results
Assist in validating processes and products.
Exercises judgment within broadly defined practices and policies in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results. Policies in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.
