Overview:
We re hiring a Project Manager II to support a major energy resilience initiative for a municipal utility in Texas. This program focuses on integrating distributed energy resources (DERs) to provide backup power and support grid operations during peak events.
In this role, you ll lead the development of a project tracking system using Microsoft Power Automate and help coordinate system integrations with existing utility IT platforms. You ll work with internal teams and external vendors to ensure projects stay on track, systems communicate correctly, and data flows smoothly to meet regulatory requirements.

- Manage DER project lifecycle tracking from intake through completion
- Build and manage automated workflows in Microsoft Power Automate
- Coordinate with IT, metering, and operations teams
- Support integration with systems like MDMS, GMS, and regulatory tools
- Assist with testing and on-site coordination when needed
- 4 7 years of project management experience in IT, energy, or utilities
- Hands-on experience with Power Automate and process tracking tools
- Strong communication and vendor coordination skills
- Bonus: Experience with DERs, ERCOT protocols, or utility systems
