Overview

AMERICAN SYSTEMS is an employee-owned federal government contractor supporting national priority programs through our strategic solutions in the areas of Information Technology, Test & Evaluation, Program Mission Support, Engineering & Analysis, and Training.

We are seeking experienced IT Logistics Support Analysts to provide support for the Exodus program, ensuring secure and efficient handling, transport, and accountability of sensitive systems and components.

Responsibilities

As an IT Logistics Support Analyst at AMERICAN SYSTEMS, you will:
  • Receive Exodus parts, components, and systems into inventory, ensuring cybersecurity review of all IT-related components.
  • Retrieve components from warehousing in response to program requirements.
  • Assemble system components, prepare shipments, and ship systems, parts, and tools to customer sites.
  • Analyze shipping options to determine and recommend the most efficient methods to meet program timelines.
  • Transport systems, components and tools to nearby Exodus customer sites and the Defense Reutilization and Management Office (DRMO).
  • Prepare required transfer forms for equipment sent to customers or DRMO.
  • Provide customers with return shipping packaging and labels.
  • Maintain organized warehousing for efficient inventory retrieval.
  • Conduct periodic inventory reviews, documenting and addressing any missing items according to established procedures.
  • Handle, house, and transport classified equipment in compliance with Department of the Navy requirements.
  • Maintain up-to-date documentation of Exodus logistics procedures.
  • Assist program personnel in sourcing required materials.
  • Procure equipment and materials from vendors in accordance with FAR and DFARS regulations.
  • Support setup and relocation of Exodus program labs and offices to new facilities.

Qualifications

  • Active Secret clearance
  • Active Dangerous Goods certification
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 10+ years of related logistics experience
  • 3+ years of IT-related logistics experience
  • Demonstrated experience with Exodus parts, components, and systems inventory, including cybersecurity review of IT-related components

Additional Skills for Success
  • Experience with government property accountability and logistics documentation systems
  • Familiarity with FAR/DFARS procurement regulations and vendor coordination
  • Knowledge of classified materials handling and secure transportation procedures
  • Ability to manage shipping, warehousing, and inventory control processes efficiently
  • Strong organizational skills to maintain warehousing and logistics documentation
  • Experience supporting lab or office setup, relocation, and facility transitions
  • Effective communication skills when coordinating with program teams and customers

Pay Transparency Statement

AMERICAN SYSTEMS is committed to pay transparency for our applicants and employee-owners. The salary range for this position is USD $107,800.00/Yr. - USD $180,100.00/Yr. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law.
