Position: Data/Integration Engineer
Location: Seattle WA, Bellevue WA, Issaquah WA
Duration: 6+months with possible extensions
Main skill: Databricks, Python, AWS/Azure.
Description:
Senior Data/Integration Engineer to deliver cloud-managed services integrations, scalable data solutions, and job automation for a global retailer company. This role is ideal for candidates with hands-on experience in multi-cloud systems, data engineering, system testing, and secure, scalable integrations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop integrations with AWS and Azure managed services, particularly Kafka, Azure Event Hubs, and NATS.io.
- Build scalable workflows using Spark/Databricks.
- Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines; work with Docker/Kubernetes.
- Perform job automation, system testing, and root cause analysis for software/integration issues.
- Ensure compliance with development standards and contribute to process improvements.
Must-Have Skills:
- 4+ years in Python development.
- 4+ years integrating cloud services (AWS/Azure: Kafka, Event Hubs, NATS.io).
- 3+ years with Spark/Databricks, relational/NoSQL databases, and data models.
- 3+ years with CI/CD pipelines and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
- Strong understanding of algorithms, data structures, data hygiene processes, and job automation.
