Job Brief (Purpose):
Reporting to the Director of Regulatory Reporting Data Quality Manager, the Data Quality Analyst will be a key member of the Regulatory Reporting team. The analyst in this role will perform activities required for the department's data quality initiatives, including data quality management, critical data elements (CDEs) identification and certification, and data inventory maintenance.

Essential Job Functions:
  • Foster relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure effective governance and oversight
  • Develop a thorough understanding of data processing inputs critical to reporting compliance
  • Maintain internal policies, procedures, and Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), ensuring records, documentation, and work papers are kept in accordance with operating standards
  • Document data quality issues following established policies and procedures
  • Identify and document critical data elements (CDEs) in collaboration with key stakeholders
  • Adhere to all compliance policies and regulatory requirements
  • Implement agile, flexible, and scalable solutions to accommodate growth-based reporting changes
  • Manage multiple work efforts and high-priority activities simultaneously
  • Perform special assignments and additional responsibilities as needed.

Required Qualifications/Competencies:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, information technology, or a related field
  • 2-5+ years of experience in banking, treasury, or financial services, working with customer data within major banking products
  • Knowledge of data governance and regulatory reporting data elements
  • Action oriented with continuous improvement mindset; takes initiative to challenge current processes and implement change
  • Proven team player, willing to assist others as needed to ensure that group deadlines are met, and quality standards are achieved
  • Ability to develop and manage relationships with internal stakeholders and regulators
  • Proficiency in using automated technology to achieve high-quality and efficient regulatory report preparation
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a high level of urgency, attention to detail, accuracy, and accountability
  • Ability to adapt to changing business needs and requirements.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to quickly assimilate information
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Preferred Skills:
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and software
  • Experience with financial system reporting environments (Workday Financials, Workday Prism, AxiomSL)
  • Proven experience in data governance, data management, or a related field
  • Knowledge of technical aspects of regulatory reporting, including data sourcing and data mapping

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

This position is eligible to earn a base salary in the range of $93,000 to $102,000 annually depending on location and job-related factors such as level of experience. Compensation for this role also includes eligibility for short-term incentive compensation and deferred incentive compensation subject to individual and company performance.
