What you'll do:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated multi-language developer with experience in designing and developing application authorization and authentication capabilities to join our development team. In this role, you will work with application developers to integrate Entra ID capabilities into their applications and services. You will also support legacy applications that are being sunset due to the Entra ID strategy. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including product management, QA, and DevOps to establish and deliver scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions, including AI and coding automation techniques.

- Design, develop, test, and deploy refactored applications updated to use Entra ID.
- Maintain legacy applications (JAVA and ColdFusion) that may require slight modifications.
- Develop and optimize database schemas, queries, and stored procedures using a number of database technologies.
- Help identify opportunities for automation of application conversions to Entra ID utilizing AI assisted code refactoring,
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software defects and performance issues.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of development processes and standards.
- Write clear, maintainable, and reusable code.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and best practices in AI assisted and automated development techniques.
What you'll bring:
Required Skills:
- Proven experience (5+ years) developing applications using a variety of languages (JAVA required).
- Experience working with Entra ID for authentication and authorization
- Strong knowledge database design, query optimization, and stored procedures.
- Hands-on experience with agile application deployment processes.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs, web services, and integration techniques.
- Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles and design patterns.
- Experience with SDLC and source control tools such as Git.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
