Job Summary


As a Systems Analyst focused on HR applications, you will play a critical role in supporting, maintaining, and enhancing our HR systems to meet the evolving needs of our organization. This position offers an exciting opportunity to collaborate with HR stakeholders, IT teams, and vendors to ensure the effective utilization of HR technology solutions.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities
HR Systems Support:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for HR systems-related inquiries, issues, and escalations.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to HR staff and end-users.
  • Monitor system performance, diagnose problems, and implement solutions to optimize system functionality.
Requirements Gathering and Analysis:
  • Collaborate with HR stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements for system enhancements and implementations.
  • Translate business needs into technical specifications and system design documentation.
  • Conduct gap analysis to identify areas for improvement and recommend appropriate solutions.
System Implementation and Upgrades:
  • Assist in the implementation of new HR systems and upgrades, including configuration, testing, and deployment activities.
  • Coordinate with vendors and internal IT teams to ensure successful project execution and adherence to project timelines.
  • Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) and provide training and support to end-users during system rollouts.
Data Management and Integration:
  • Manage data integrity and accuracy within HR systems by performing regular audits and data validation checks.
  • Develop and maintain data integration processes between HR systems and other enterprise applications.
  • Ensure data security and compliance with regulatory requirements, such as GDPR and HIPAA.
Reporting and Analytics:
  • Create and maintain HR reports and dashboards to support data-driven decision-making and provide insights into HR metrics and trends.
  • Develop ad-hoc reports and queries as requested by HR leadership and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with business intelligence (BI) teams to enhance reporting capabilities and data visualization.
System Customization and Configuration:
  • Customize HR systems to meet unique business requirements through configuration, scripting, and workflow development.
  • Work with vendors to implement system enhancements and apply patches and upgrades as needed.
  • Document system configurations, workflows, and customizations for knowledge sharing and future reference.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
  • Proven experience as a Systems Analyst working with HR applications and systems.
  • Expert experience in SQL, SSIS, & SSRS.
  • Knowledge of Dayforce HCM or other major HRIS.
  • Experience with system implementation, configuration, and support.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Essential Physical Job Functions (with or without accommodation)
  • Physical requirements are the ability to perform a manual data input function for up to 50% of an 8-hour day on regular basis.
  • This position requires a focused, self-starter with the ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be able to work well under pressure with good organizational and project management skills.
