About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Sr. Analyst to join our Home Financing team. In this role, you will lead the design and implementation of advanced analytics and reporting solutions that support strategic decision-making. You will work closely with business stakeholders to translate data into actionable insights, enabling data-driven decisions across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a trusted advisor to business partners, providing expert guidance on data analytics and visualization.
- Design, develop, and implement innovative analytical solutions and dashboards.
- Lead the development of data strategies, reporting tools, and decision support systems.
- Analyze complex data sets to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
- Automate validation tests and ensure data quality and compliance.
- Promote self-serve analytics and a data-driven culture.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver on business objectives.
- Document and maintain operational procedures for analytics processes.
Must-Have Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in data analytics.
- Proficiency in SQL, SAS (certified), R, Python, Power BI, PowerPoint.
- Experience in home financing, HELOCs, mortgages, or banking environments
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
- Relevant degree (stats, data, analytics) preferred.
- Deep knowledge of data preparation, analysis, and visualization.
- Experience with A/B testing, data storytelling, and data mining.
- Strong collaboration, problem-solving, and influence skills.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications
- Previous banking experience
- Familiarity with RESL analytics.
- Prior experience leading analytics projects.
Job Details:
- Full-time | Monday-Friday, 9 AM-5 PM
- Start Date: ASAP
- 12 months (with potential for extension or full-time conversion)
