Title: Senior L&D Specialist
Location: Remote in United States
Pay Rate Range: $35 - $40/hour W2, based on experience
Duration: 12+ months contract

Job Description:
Description: 3+ years of experience developing computer-based employee training modules and programs/developing employee-facing training, particularly in crisis management, business continuity, and emergency management

Responsibilities:
* Needs Analysis: Conduct training needs assessments to identify skill gaps and learning objectives for individuals and the organization.
* Instructional Design: Design and develop e-learning courses, modules, and materials, incorporating adult learning theory and instructional design principles.
* Content Development: Create interactive learning content, including multimedia elements like videos, animations, simulations, and interactive quizzes.
* LMS Management: Implement and manage the Learning Management System (LMS), ensuring courses are uploaded, organized, and compatible with the platform.
* Technical Support & Facilitation: Provide technical support as needed for e-learning platforms, facilitate virtual and self-paced training sessions, and offer hours for learner assistance as needed
* Collaboration: Partner with subject matter experts (SMEs) in Business Continuity, Crisis Management, and Employee Readiness, instructional designers, and other stakeholders to gather content and ensure high-quality learning experiences.
* Evaluation: Develop assessment methods and evaluations to measure training effectiveness, gather feedback, and calculate training ROI.
* Project Management: Manage project timelines and resources for e-learning initiatives.

Essential Skills & Qualifications
* Technical Proficiency: Expertise in web-based learning platforms, authoring tools, and learning management systems (LMS).
* Instructional Design Skills: Knowledge of ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) or similar instructional design models.
* Multimedia & Content Creation: Skills in creating and editing audio, video, and interactive content for digital platforms.
* Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for developing content and interacting with learners and stakeholders.
* Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze data and learner performance to improve training programs.
* Adult Learning Principles: Understanding of adult learning theory to create engaging and effective online content.
* Collaboration: Ability to work effectively and collegially with various departments and individuals.
* Emerging Technologies: Familiarity with newer technologies such as data analytics, AI, and AR/VR is a plus for creating innovative learning solutions.
