Summary:
Possesses technical security writing experience across relevant types of documents such as standards, procedures, manuals, user manuals, process maps, documentation of systems or programs, training manuals, operational run books, installation guides, and articles regarding technical security topics. Interfaces with SMEs, users, developers, managers, and other stakeholders to update/revise documentation to align with applicable industry standards, requirements, platforms, processes, and tools. Finalizes and proofs documentation based on feedback and comments. Supports periodic reviews for organization-owned documentation. Analyzes and interprets technical terminology as needed for documentation.

Pay Transparency: The typical base pay for this role across the U.S. is: $40.00 - $45.00/hr. Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education and experience and the benefits package you select. Full-time employees are eligible to select from different benefits packages. Packages may include medical, dental, and vision benefits, 10 paid days off, 401(k) plan participation, commuter benefits and life and disability insurance.

Summary:

Responsibilities:
- As a Cybersecurity Technical Writer, you'll collaborate with HR, IT, and security teams to develop and maintain clear, compliant documentation aligned with industry standards like NIST and ISO.
- Your responsibilities include creating and updating policies, procedures, incident response plans, and training materials, ensuring they are accessible to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- You'll manage the documentation lifecycle, incorporating feedback from stakeholders to keep content current with evolving cybersecurity practices.
- Additionally, you'll produce educational resources to support organizational understanding of cybersecurity protocols and stay informed about the latest developments in the field to ensure all documentation reflects current knowledge and standards.
- Partnering with relevant teams to develop and obtain feedback on documentation
