This role will support a growing initiative aimed at automating control validation and compliance across cloud and technology environments. Required Skills & Experience
- Strong knowledge of cybersecurity concepts (e.g., authentication, authorization, firewalls).
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with Python for scripting, data analysis, and automation.
- Advanced experience writing complex queries in Splunk.
- Solid experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Redis).
- Hands-on experience working with cloud platforms-Google Cloud Platform and Azure preferred.
- Experience working with both structured and unstructured data, including performing ETL-like activities.
- Experience using Jupyter Notebook for data export and reporting.
- Exposure to enterprise-scale cybersecurity environments, preferably in financial services.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Familiarity with control frameworks and audit/reporting practices in large organizations.
- Collaborate with business and technology teams to understand control requirements and interpret policy-driven mandates.
- Analyze large datasets from multiple sources (e.g., Splunk, SQL/NoSQL databases, application logs) to determine whether controls are properly implemented.
- Identify relevant data fields, write queries, generate summary indices, and support evidence gathering for control adherence (e.g., SSO compliance).
- Present findings to stakeholders for validation and sign-off.
- Use tools such as Jupyter Notebook for data extraction, transformation, and visualization of complex datasets.
- Support cloud-related initiatives across Google Cloud Platform, Azure, and AWS platforms.
- Establish repeatable, scalable analysis practices aligned with enterprise risk and security standards.
