REMOTE : Sr. Data Migration Lead

Location - Pennsylvania, PA(Locals Preferred)

Long term contract

Need 3 days onsite every quarter.

Rate : $60/hr on C2C

Need 11+ years only

 

Job description:

 

The Data Migration Lead will co-ordinate all data migration activities and will create and operate the migration tools as necessary. The Data Migration lead will manage team activity according to established timelines using program directed methods, including managing team activity in Jira, holding standups to drive work through the day/week/project stage.

 

The Data Migration lead will report to the Fusion team but align for the duration of the project to our Director of Integrations for company leading practice, approach, etc.

 

Create a plan of all activities and tasks required to populate our target system with all current and historical data necessary for the correct operation of the solutions.

Develop associated resource requirements to implement the plan within the framework and constraints of the overall program plan and project plans.

Monitor and report progress of the data migration plan at project level.

Identify and elevate risks and issues for the data migration.

Identify, work with Program leadership to socialize, implement mitigation plans or remediation for risks or issues, path to green through closure.

Manage and coordinate activities for the ETL engineers to perform the data

migration.

Design a quality management scheme and plan for data migration activities including validation of loaded data to ensure the maximum efficiency and accuracy of data populated within the new solution.

Work to move manual reconciliation steps upstream into the database to fully automate this process, ensure scalability across future regions/waves.

Assist business and technical teams tracing out issues in the exception process which can be implemented as automation.

Maintain cards in our tracking/system of record and other a progress-trackers for all data migration activities and stages.

Presentation of plans and progress to project and program boards. Work with the Solution Architects and the PMO team to develop and document a standard data migration approach.

Documentation of process, approach, diagrams, models, and auditable artifacts associated with Data Migration.
