Key Responsibilities:
Integration Architecture & Design
Design and document the end-to-end integration architecture for the
Medicaid system, aligning with security, performance, and compliance
requirements.
Define patterns and best practices for real-time (e.g., Web Services) and
batch (e.g., SFTP, EDI X12) integrations.

Interface Planning & Implementation
Lead the technical design and configuration of interfaces with internal and
external systems (e.g., eligibility, claims, financial systems, MMIS modules).
Work closely with business analysts and external partners to define data
mapping, transformation, and validation rules.

Deliverables Ownership
Develop and maintain Interface Control Documents (ICDs) in collaboration
with trading partners and internal teams.
Manage integration-related deliverables including data exchange
specifications, test cases, integration test results, and go-live readiness
checklists.

Coordination & Communication
Serve as the primary point of contact for all integration-related activities,
including coordination with vendors, state agencies, and trading partners.
Collaborate with development, QA, and DevOps teams to ensure smooth
interface deployment and testing.

Testing & Validation
Oversee end-to-end testing of interfaces including mock testing, partner
validation, and resolution of integration issues.
Ensure documentation of Integration Test Results with traceability to
requirements and scenarios.

Qualifications
Strong understanding of Web Services (SOAP/REST), SFTP protocols, and EDI X12
(especially HIPAA-compliant 837, 835, 270/271 transactions).
Hands-on experience with interface engines, middleware, and integration platforms
(e.g., WSO2, DataPower, MuleSoft, etc.) is a plus.
Strong documentation skills, especially with ICDs, data mappings, and testing
artifacts.
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and coordination abilities.
