Oracle Fusion HCM β Techno Functional Lead
π Location: Chicago, Atlanta, Texas (Onsite/Hybrid/Remote options available; occasional travel as per client needs)
Duration: 12+ months with possible extension
Engagement Type: C2C, Full-Time, W2, or 1099 Contract
Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Oracle Fusion HCM Techno-Functional Lead with deep expertise in Oracle Fusion HCM applications. The ideal candidate will bring strong functional and technical knowledge, proven implementation experience, and the ability to lead end-to-end HCM projects while collaborating with business stakeholders and technical teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and deliver full life-cycle implementations of Oracle Fusion HCM, with a focus on Core HR, Benefits, Oracle Recruitment Cloud, and Workforce Compensation modules.
- Conduct requirement gathering, fit-gap analysis, solution design, and configurations within Fusion HCM.
- Design and implement integrations using HDL, Web Services, PaaS, and 3rd-party tools.
- Develop and optimize Fast Formulae, Personalizations, Data Extracts, BIP Reports, Dashboards, and Redwood enablement.
- Manage historical data conversion, migration, and loading activities.
- Define and implement security processes within Fusion Applications.
- Prepare high-quality documentation including AS-IS/TO-BE process flows, functional specifications, test scenarios, training materials, and SOPs.
- Write and execute test cases/scripts covering end-to-end business processes; coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with clients.
- Support cloud upgrades, enhancements, and maintenance activities.
- Collaborate on coexistence scenarios with other ERP systems (e.g., Oracle E-Business Suite).
- Work independently while also guiding and mentoring junior team members.
Required Skills & Experience
- 7+ years of hands-on experience in Oracle Fusion HCM.
- 4+ full-cycle implementations of Fusion HCM across key modules.
- Strong expertise in Fusion HCM configurations, workarounds, and solutioning.
- In-depth knowledge of integration methodologies (HDL, Web Services, PaaS, 3rd-party integrations).
- Proficiency in Fast Formulae, BIP Reports, Extracts, and Redwood enablement.
- Strong understanding of data migration and security frameworks in Fusion Apps.
- Excellent documentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with test management and change management tools.
- Familiarity with cloud implementation methodologies and coexistence scenarios.
