Job Title: Cloud Solution Architect
Location: Alpharetta, GA (Onsite M-F)
Type: Full Time/W2 with Infinite Computer Solutions
Essential Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for enterprise-wide strategy formulation, vision implementation, operational tasks, cost and risk management.
- Works on moderate to complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth knowledge of the Function/BU
- Leads/directs projects and resources and has full responsibility for their outcomes. Plans and conducts assignments involving the larger and more important projects and resources. Oversees the progress of project goals and may oversee the outcomes of others simultaneously; evaluates results. May act in liaison with other departments, divisions and organizations.
- Evaluates progress and results and recommends major change in procedures.
- Uses knowledge of new technology to estimate and advise concerning impact of decisions and services.
- Formulates strategies to increase customer/user satisfaction.
- Full responsibility for managing resources for area of expertise.
- Communicates internally and externally to all levels of management, agencies and customers.
- Possesses and applies an advanced knowledge of a field of specialization to the completion of projects of major complexity.
- Provides leadership through the assessment and analysis of complex data, theory and application of practices.
- Consultant role, working with business units and development teams on cloud knowledge-share and enablement efforts.
- Expertise in modern Cloud Service Provider technologies, well-architecture, Cloud native technologies as well as Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD are key.
- Create and peer review knowledgebase articles and product documentation.
- Willing and able to learn new technologies.
Required Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor s Degree in Computer Science or related technical field experience OR a High School diploma and 5-7 years of professional work experience
Job Related Experience:
- Experience interacting with customers and appropriate representatives to analyze, validate, specify, verify, document and manage solution requirements.
- 4+ Experience in public/private cloud environments (AWS/Azure/Google Cloud)
- Experience in the complete SDLC cycle including associated deployment methodologies, QA processes, and performance tuning efforts.
- Experience in Automation/Continuous Integration (Salt, Fabric, Jenkins, Octopus Deploy, etc.)
- Concurrent Versioning Software (Git, GitHub)
- Working knowledge of networking protocols and components including TCP/IP, DNS, CIFS.
- Experience designing and implementing High Availability and Disaster Recovery solutions.
- Experience working on a matrix team consisting of a variety of Infrastructure Engineering groups, as well as Development groups and Client Relationship groups.
- Willingness and capability of quickly learning new technologies required for accomplishing project goals.
