Crew business analysis associates help determine business and technology needs, design solutions, improve processes, and represent stakeholders in project efforts.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements
Write clear and effective user stories to support development and testing teams
Facilitate and document decisions from meetings, ensuring alignment among stakeholders
Support requirement workshops, interviews, and other elicitation activities
Assist in analyzing business processes to identify opportunities for improvement
Maintain thorough, organized documentation of requirements, decisions, and process flows
Create and update process maps and diagrams using Microsoft Visio
Prepare presentations and reports in PowerPoint to communicate findings and recommendations
Perform basic data analysis using Excel to support decision-making
Qualifications:
0-3 years of experience in a Business Analyst or similar role (internship experience welcomed)
Must have some familiarity with call center lingo (call center flow, IVR, queue mapping, Etc.)
Must be detail-oriented, can write user stories, gather requirements, and document decisions effectively
Proficiency with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
General willingness to learn, adapt, and take on new challenges
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
Preferred Qualifications:
Exposure to Agile or Scrum methodologies
Familiarity with requirements management or project tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence)
Experience in facilitating meetings or workshops
The salary range for this role is $30,000 to $40,000 or the hourly equivalent.
