Job Details:
As a Permanent Mechanical Engineer in the Construction industry, you will be a part of a dynamic, innovative team that is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing a wide range of mechanical systems and solutions. You will work closely with architects, civil engineers, and other professionals to ensure the successful completion of construction projects. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional with a strong background in Engineering Design who is eager to apply their technical expertise and problem-solving skills in a challenging, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
1. Design, develop, and test all aspects of mechanical components, equipment, and machinery.
2. Apply knowledge of engineering principles to design products such as engines, instruments, controls, robots, machines, etc.
3. Coordinate with project managers to work out project specifications.
4. Conduct product testing and create models and prototypes.
5. Oversee the installation, operation, maintenance, and repair of equipment.
6. Review, evaluate, and implement engineering changes and specification requirements.
7. Provide technical support to the construction team and troubleshoot mechanical systems and equipment.
8. Prepare and deliver technical presentations and reports.
9. Ensure all mechanical engineering projects, initiatives, and processes are in conformance with organization's established policies and objectives.
10. Utilize advanced techniques, theory, precepts, and practices in the mechanical engineering field and related sciences and disciplines.
11. Lead and direct the work of others as part of a project team.

Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in Engineering Design.
3. Strong knowledge of CAD/CAM software, 2D and 3D modeling.
4. Excellent understanding of mechanical engineering concepts and best practices.
5. Proven experience in project management and team leadership.
6. Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
7. Ability to communicate complex concepts and solutions in a clear and accessible manner.
8. Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
9. Proficient in the use of MS Office Suite and other relevant software.
10. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
11. Must be a team player with the ability to work independently when needed.
12. Professional Engineering (PE) license is a plus.
