Pay Range: $85 - $90/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for deconstructing elements and configurations data protection services (Purview Information Protection, Purview / Defender DLP, Forcepoint DLP, Skyhigh / McAfee MVISION, MCAS).
  • Exercises judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information. Leads small projects with manageable risks and resource requirements; plays significant roles in larger, more complex initiatives.
  • Explains and interprets complex, difficult, or sensitive information. Acts as a resource for teammates with less experience.
  • Works independently and receives minimal guidance.
  • Serves as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for data loss prevention and data scanning / classification / tagging
  • Interfaces with business and technology partners on projects as well as serving as an IT Risk SME during the planning and execution of technology initiatives.
  • Working with Data Protection Services to identify exception groups and track them through removal with coordination of IAM team.

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

  • 'Proven experience in systems engineering or administration or an equivalent combination of education and work experience focusing on IT Security.
  • Experience with Purview Information Protection and / or Purview DLP and / or Forcepoint DLP and / or Skyhigh and / or MCAS
  • Experience with AWS and/or MS Azure with a prior experience with on-premises virtual environments.
  • In-depth knowledge in information systems and ability to identify, apply, and implement best practices.
  • Understanding of key business processes and competitive strategies related to IT functions.
  • Ability to plan and manage projects. ability to solve complex problems by applying best practices.
  • Automation of security configurations and security related workloads based on security policies.
  • Responsible for creation of Run books/Playbooks pertaining to deployment processes and operational support.
  • Works with engineers and architects to design security solutions via design input and code reviews.
  • Provides direct feedback to senior leadership on project status and projection of timeline for completion for outlined tasks.
  • Produce Implementation plans for engineering tasks of solutions from end to end.
  • Ability to provide feedback for PI planning activities pertaining to project status and future state.
  • Certification in at least one of the following: CISA, CIA, ITIL, CPA, CISSP.
  • Financial services or specialized industry experience.
  • Knowledge of FFIEC IT Examiner's handbook for cyber security

Critical Screening Questions and Answers:

  • 'Do you have experience and / or knowledge of Purview Information Protection, formely known as MPIP? If so, can you describe how you implemented a data classification scheme using that tool.
  • Do you have experience and / or knowledge of Purview / Defender Data Loss Prevention (DLP)? If so, can you explain the differences between those two product suites and which DLP features are included in each?
  • Do you have expxerience and / or knowledge of Forcepoint DLP? If not, do you have experience with other DLP tools such as Symantec / Broadcom DLP (Vontu), Digial Client, etc.)
  • Do you have experience and / or knowledge of Skyhigh and / or MCAS and / or Zscaler as a CASB? If so, can you describe the practical difference in security of enabling policies looking for the presence of data versus enabling policies restricting access to data?
