Job Details
Job title: Data Engineer
Location: 100% remote
Duration: 6 Month + contract
Note: Manager called out data flow to go along with ADF it needs to be used as the main ETL tool, people who have used databricks in conjunction with ADF usually aren t a fit bc databricks does the heavy lifting and ADF is more orchestration
Must Have: ADF, Snowflake, ETL, SQL, Healthcare Domain
Project Scope:
- State of Connecticut project Medicaid Decision Support System
- Will be moving all ETL to Azure Data Factory/Snowflake as a database
High-Level Individual Duties
- Analyzing project requirements and developing specs for ETL requirements
- Building out data pipelines in Azure Data Factory
- Working in RDBMS (SQL + Snowflake)
Must-Haves (Concepts & Tools):
- 5 + years of data engineering experience
- Experience creating pipelines in ADF
- Snowflake experience (using it as a database - target for ETL )
- Understanding of other ETL tools (i.e. SSIS or Informatica)
- Strong SQL skills
