Details:

We are seeking an experienced Java Full Stack Developer to join the IT Scheduled Releases team. The developer will design, develop, and maintain web applications with a strong focus on front-end implementation while supporting all phases of the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC). The role involves troubleshooting, system analysis, content migration, documentation, and ensuring compliance with accessibility, usability, and security standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and test Java full stack web applications.

  • Migrate and manage content and environments to RHEL 8.

  • Analyze, design, and develop structured programs aligned with business needs.

  • Troubleshoot software, data, and reporting issues.

  • Ensure adherence to web security best practices (OWASP).

  • Collaborate with cross-functional IT teams.

  • Document processes, specifications, and create test cases.

Minimum Required Skills (4 7 years):

  • Java (OpenJDK 1.8+), EAP 8, Spring Batch 2.1.8, iText 2.1.5

  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux (6.x/7.x/8), Red Hat CodeReady Studio 12.21.3.GA

  • PHP development, LAMP stack (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP)

  • Web content migration & environment management to RHEL 8

  • DB2 Database

  • Web security (OWASP, SQL Injection, XSS, CSRF, WAF)

  • Experience with Government Regulations/Compliance

  • Strong collaboration and ability to work with IT/Admin teams

Preferred Skills:

  • GitHub repository experience

  • Visual Studio Code or similar IDEs
