Description

We are looking for a skilled Quality Assurance Analyst to join our team in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. This is a long-term contract position where you will play a key role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality software applications through rigorous testing, scripting, and process evaluation. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automated testing, Python scripting, and quality assurance methodologies, with the ability to collaborate effectively within an agile environment.

Responsibilities:
Develop and oversee detailed test plans to ensure software applications meet quality standards.
Create and execute use cases and test cases, incorporating Python scripting for middleware development.
Define and monitor quality assurance metrics, including defect counts, test results, and statuses.
Analyze software processes to identify areas for improvement and integrate solutions into business workflows.
Document and troubleshoot software issues, providing resolutions in collaboration with technical teams.
Deliver training on quality processes to technical staff and act as an internal consultant to influence stakeholders.
Conduct quality audits across IT functions to ensure compliance with established standards and methodologies.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product owners, business analysts, and developers, to align testing strategies.
Utilize tools such as Jenkins, Splunk, Swagger, and TestRail for test management and automation.
Perform automated testing with a focus on REST APIs and JSON-based systems.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent work experience.
3 to 5 years of experience in QA testing, with at least 2 years of hands-on Python scripting.
Proficiency in automated testing, particularly within Windows environments and agile frameworks.
Familiarity with scripting languages such as JavaScript, VBScript, C#, or Python.
Experience using test case management tools like TestRail.
Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects while maintaining high-quality standards.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, for collaboration across teams.
