Job Title: Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) Implementation Specialist Location: Remote
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) Implementation Specialist to lead the installation, configuration, and deployment of Oracle EBS Inventory and Purchasing modules in a hybrid environment one instance on-premises and one in the cloud. This role will also involve supporting data migration, integration, training, and post-deployment support.
Key Responsibilities
Installation & Environment Setup
Install and configure Oracle EBS Inventory and Purchasing modules in both Azure GovCloud and on-premises environments.
Assist with environment setup and software dependency installation.
Ensure successful deployment and validation of all required modules.
Configuration & Integration
Configure roles, privileges, user interfaces, and workflows for each module.
Enable and support module integration (e.g., purchasing receipts updating inventory).
Configure and document Oracle EBS XML Gateway message services.
Coordinate access control setup including multifactor authentication.
Support configuration of backup, restore, and disaster recovery procedures.
Data Loading & Migration
Develop and implement database patches for initial dataset loads (e.g., parts, BOM routers).
Provide procedures for incremental data patching and reset processes.
Utilize ETL tools for accurate and efficient data migration.
Training & Documentation
Deliver training sessions for system administrators and end users on data loading, transaction workflows, and system administration.
Document XML Gateway configuration, access control, reporting, and example message services.
Create clear user and sysadmin guides.
Ongoing Support
Provide post-installation support for cloud and on-prem environments.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to functionality, integration, and security.
Apply bug fixes, security patches, and performance optimizations.
