Job Description
The POS Analyst will be responsible for managing and supporting the technical aspects of Point of Sale (POS) systems within the organization. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of POS systems across brands, providing expert troubleshooting, and implementing system updates as needed.
In this position, you will serve as level 3 support for the help desk, handling advanced troubleshooting for POS-related issues. You will maintain lab environments, build new labs when required, and work closely with store operations teams to resolve technical challenges. The ideal candidate is passionate about technical problem-solving and has a strong interest in restaurant technology systems.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Support the lab environment for brands, maintaining lab presence and providing advanced troubleshooting
  • Build and configure lab environments as needed to test and implement POS solutions
  • Oversee daily operations of POS systems, ensuring they function correctly and efficiently
  • Provide technical support to end-users, addressing issues related to POS systems
  • Configure and update POS systems, including software updates and hardware maintenance
  • Collaborate with IT team members, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure POS systems meet organizational needs
  • Maintain detailed documentation of system configurations, updates, and issue resolutions
  • Assist with computer imaging and system deployment
Required Experience/Skills
  • Experience with POS systems (Par Brink, Oracle, or Infor preferred, but any POS experience is acceptable)
  • Working knowledge of PowerShell scripting
  • Experience with computer imaging
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Suite
  • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds
  • Strong communication skills
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
  • 3+ years of experience in a similar role
Nice-to-Haves
  • Experience with restaurant or retail POS systems specifically
  • Knowledge of networking concepts related to POS systems
  • Background in food service or restaurant operations
  • Experience working in a multi-location support environment
  • Familiarity with hardware deployment and maintenance
Education
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Information Technology

Pay & Benefits Summary
  • Payrate: $40-$45/hr W2 based on experience 
  • Contract position for 6 months with high possibility for extension
