Leidos is seeking a Database Engineer for a technical development program supporting the Sponsor's Entitlement Programs as well as IdAM /ICAM, Authentication, Authorization, Attributes and Digital Policy Management.
Primary Responsibilities:

Pay Range:
Pay Range $148,850.00 - $269,075.00

Primary Responsibilities:
Overall responsibilities as a Database Administrator (DBA) include performing all necessary procedures for several databases across several environments. Specific development, test, and production responsibilities will include:
- Install and maintain database software, including Oracle 11 and PostgreSQL hosted on AWS Relational Database Service (RDS).
- Provide software developers with database schema designs adhering to relational database best practices
- Providing corporate applications with DBA consultation and technical support for relational databases
- Evaluate and update database designs for better performance.
- Address integration between databases.
- Maintain database documents and procedures.
- Support database security hardening.
- Address and troubleshoot technical problems.
Required Qualifications:
- Active TS/SCI with Polygraph
- Typically requires BS degree and 13+ years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 10-13 years of prior relevant experience.
- AWS experience.
- Prior experience reading and developing solutions to customer requirements.
- Experience with Oracle, MS SQL, UNIX, PostgreSQL, and Linux.
- Candidate will need to work in a team environment where collaboration, cooperation, synergy, and teamwork are essential
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience with database migration tools such as Flyway
- Experience supporting COTS platforms
