Project Overview:
Brookdale Senior Living is preparing for an Oracle ERP system go-live and is seeking a supplemental team of Tier 1 Help Desk agents to support the anticipated increase in end-user support calls. This is a critical project to ensure a smooth transition during their Oracle deployment. TEKsystems has partnered with Brookdale on similar initiatives in the past, and this engagement will be highly visible within their IT organization.
Position Overview:
We are seeking experienced Tier 1 Help Desk professionals to provide phone-based and remote support.
Candidates must be located within driving distance of West Allis, WI, as they will be required to attend 2-3 days of onsite training and equipment pickup. After initial training, the role will transition to 100% remote support.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide Tier 1 phone-based technical support.
Accurately log, troubleshoot, and escalate tickets.
Support password resets, account issues, basic navigation, and first-level triage.
Follow documented processes and knowledge articles to resolve common issues
Communicate effectively and empathetically with end users, providing excellent customer service
Participate in 2-3 days of in-person training.
Pick up and configure equipment during onsite training
Required Skills and Experience:
1+ years of Help Desk or Service Desk experience supporting enterprise end users
Strong customer service and communication skills (phone-based support)
Ability to follow documented procedures and escalate tickets appropriately
Experience supporting ERP systems is a plus, but not required
Work Schedule:
Onsite in West Allis, WI for 2-3 days of training (week prior to or during week of June 3rd)
Remote support following training (standard business hours; some flexibility may be required during go-live peak periods)

Candidate Profile - Ideal Fit:
We are looking for customer-centric, dependable, and flexible Help Desk professionals who are comfortable supporting end users during high-pressure situations like an ERP system go-live. Ideal candidates will have a proven ability to handle a high volume of calls while maintaining a calm, helpful demeanor.
Key Attributes:
Customer Service Focused: Able to deliver a positive support experience to end users who may be frustrated or under stress during a system transition.
Strong Communicator: Clear, patient, and professional verbal skills are critical.
Dependable & Flexible: Must be reliable and adaptable to shifting needs during go-live. Some extended hours or schedule flexibility may be needed during peak support times.
Quick Learner: Ability to quickly absorb new processes, tools, and systems during the initial onsite training.
Team Player: Willing to collaborate with other support agents, Brookdale trainers, and Oracle consultants as part of a cohesive support team.
Nice to Have:
Prior experience supporting ERP go-lives or large-scale technology cutovers
Familiarity with Oracle applications (not required but would be a plus)
Experience using Track-It or other ITSM tools
Important Notes:
Must be located within commuting distance of West Allis, WI
Must be able to commit to 2-3 days onsite.
The project will be fast-moving - looking for candidates who can hit the ground running with minimal handholding

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $18.00/hr.
