Hello

This is Prasad from Apex-2000.
We have a job position for Process Designer.
The End client is Southern California Edison.
The Implementing Company is Infosys.
Contract based job.
Remote role

JD:
Define Phase: Gather information about the business problem, understand customer and business requirements, and measure performance.
Discovery Phase: Understand current work processes, identify pain points and root causes, define process scope, and create current state process maps.
Design Phase: Collaborate with stakeholders to create future state process maps, identify solutions to root causes, and establish process controls.
Demonstrate Phase:
Prototyping: Provide input on the solution prototype.
Testing: Recommend process fixes, define test cases/scripts, and validate results.
Implementation: Validate that the solution improves the process, ensure process controls, and create final process maps and reports demonstrating benefits and goals achieved.

Qualifications Needed

5 to 10 years of applicable experience
Background in process design
Process Mapping & Modeling: Proficiency in using various methodologies and tools (e.g., BPMN 2.0, Visio, Signavio) to visually represent current and future state processes.
Process Analysis & Improvement: Ability to analyze existing processes to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, risks, and areas for optimization using techniques like value stream mapping, root cause analysis, and gap analysis.
Workflow Design & Optimization: Experience in designing new workflows or redesigning existing ones to improve efficiency, reduce costs, enhance quality, and improve user experience.
Data Analysis & Interpretation: Ability to collect, analyze, and interpret data to identify trends, measure process performance, and support process improvement initiatives.
Performance Measurement & KPIs: Experience in defining and tracking Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to monitor process effectiveness and identify areas for further improvement.
Lean Six Sigma Yellow or Green Belt certification.

Desired Qualifications

Knowledge in process design within the electric utility industry.
Understanding of industry-specific regulations, best practices, and trends.
Requirements Gathering & Elicitation: Skill in working with stakeholders to understand business needs, objectives, and requirements related to processes.
Desired Functional Skills:

Proven experience in outcome-oriented transformation.
Must be comfortable operating in an agile development environment and making strong judgment calls based on the information and alternatives available, leaning on internal and external subject matter experts when needed.
Demonstrated experience introducing new and innovative technologies that enable improved business performance across a variety of functions including client facing business processes and back-office business processes.
Demonstrated strong negotiation and collaboration skills.
Ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams.
Attention to Detail: Thoroughness in analyzing and documenting processes.
Adaptability & Flexibility: Ability to adjust to changing business needs and priorities.
Communication Skills (Written & Verbal): Clear and concise communication to explain complex processes to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Facilitation Skills: Ability to lead workshops and meetings effectively to gather requirements and drive consensus on process design.
