Job Title: .Net/UI Developer Developer Level III (Local to NY)
Location: Albany, NY (Onsite/Hybrid as required)

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced UI Developer (Developer Level III) to design and implement complex, scalable, and intuitive user interfaces for enterprise web and/or mobile applications. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in modern UI frameworks, a passion for building performant and user-friendly interfaces, and the ability to mentor junior developers while collaborating with cross-functional teams.


Mandatory Qualifications

  1. Experience Level III Over 7 years of experience on complex projects, including 2+ years in a leadership/developer lead role.

  2. UI Development Expertise More than 7 years of experience with UI development patterns (including MVC) and scalable application design.

  3. Web Development Skills Over 7 years of experience in:

    • HTML, XML, JSON, AJAX

    • JavaScript/TypeScript, Angular Framework (3 4+ years), jQuery, Bootstrap, CSS


Desirable Qualifications

  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or related technical field.

  • 7+ years of experience in .NET/C# for n-tier web applications OR Java/Spring Boot for n-tier web/cloud deployment.

  • 7+ years of experience with Service Oriented Architecture (SOA), secure web services, and SOAP/RESTful APIs.

  • 7+ years of experience with Entity Framework.

  • 7+ years using unit testing frameworks (xUnit/NUnit preferred).

  • 5+ years using Git or other distributed version control systems.

  • 2+ years designing and implementing CI/CD workflows.

  • 2+ years working with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

  • 2+ years of experience in federal or state government settings, especially Health and Human Services or Integrated Eligibility System programs (PA, TA, SNAP, HEAP, Fair Hearings, Child Support).


Duties and Responsibilities

  • Design and develop high-quality, reusable, and performant UI components.

  • Translate requirements into UI designs and functionality.

  • Collaborate with UX designers, business analysts, product managers, and developers for consistent user experiences.

  • Ensure compliance with UI/UX best practices, responsive design principles, SOLID principles, and Section 508 WCAG accessibility standards.

  • Optimize UI performance and scalability through efficient code and resource management.

  • Conduct code reviews and enforce coding standards.

  • Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance.

  • Stay current with emerging UI development trends and technologies.

  • Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle: requirements, design, testing, deployment, and support.
