Job title: Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Developer

Location: Houston, Texas

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Developer to join our digital experience team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience designing, developing, and deploying enterprise-level web content management solutions using AEM. You will work closely with UX designers, marketers, and other developers to deliver high-quality digital experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain web applications using AEM (Sites, Assets, Forms).
  • Customize AEM components, templates, workflows, and integrations with other systems.
  • Translate business requirements into technical specifications and deliver scalable AEM solutions.
  • Collaborate with front-end developers, UI/UX designers, and backend teams.
  • Ensure AEM sites follow best practices in terms of performance, accessibility, and SEO.
  • Support ongoing maintenance, bug fixing, and enhancements to existing AEM solutions.
  • Manage code versioning and deployments using tools such as Git and Jenkins.
  • Implement and configure AEM authoring tools, permissions, and user management.
  • Create technical documentation and participate in code reviews.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Over 12+ years of Software Development Experience including 5+ years of hands-on experience with Adobe Experience Manager (6.5 or AEM as a Cloud Service).
  • Strong knowledge of AEM architecture, Sling, OSGi, JCR, and HTL/Sightly.
  • Proficiency in Java, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and RESTful web services.
  • Experience with version control tools like Git.
  • Familiarity with DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Maven, and Docker.
  • Good understanding of Agile methodologies and Scrum practices.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • AEM Developer or Architect Certification.
  • Experience integrating AEM with Adobe Analytics, Adobe Target, and other Adobe Experience Cloud tools.
  • Knowledge of front-end frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
