Job Title: Manual Tester
Location: Andover, MA(Need only Locals)

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Manual Tester to join our growing team. As a Manual Tester, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of our software products through meticulous testing and analysis. You will be responsible for identifying and reporting defects, verifying fixes, and collaborating with developers to deliver high-quality software to our customers.

Job Responsibilities:

• Execute test cases and test plans to identify software defects.
• Document and report defects clearly and concisely in a bug tracking system.
• Verify defect fixes and ensure they meet the required standards.
• Collaborate with developers and other testers to resolve issues.
• Participate in test planning and design sessions.
• Develop and maintain test cases and test data.
• Perform regression testing to ensure that new code changes do not introduce new defects.
• Conduct exploratory testing to uncover hidden defects.
• Analyze test results and provide feedback to the development team.
• Contribute to the improvement of testing processes and methodologies.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest testing tools and techniques.
• Work closely with the QA team to ensure overall product quality.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proven experience as a Manual Tester.
• Strong understanding of software testing principles and methodologies.
• Experience with bug tracking systems (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to write clear and concise bug reports.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience with different testing techniques (e.g., black box, white box).
• Familiarity with software development life cycle (SDLC).
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Experience with automated testing tools is a plus.
