Job Details
BlueHalo, an AV company, is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Full Stack Software Engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will work closely with Product Owners and engineering team members to develop innovative software solutions that address critical challenges in national defense.
You will contribute to both prototype and production-grade systems, utilizing modern technologies within an Agile development environment. Our work directly supports U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) organizations, providing impactful solutions for integrated air and missile defense planning.

You will contribute to both prototype and production-grade systems, utilizing modern technologies within an Agile development environment. Our work directly supports U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) organizations, providing impactful solutions for integrated air and missile defense planning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including stakeholders, product owners, and other engineers to design, develop, test, and deploy full-stack solutions.
- Participate in Agile software development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Translate user stories and requirements into scalable and maintainable software applications.
- Support DevSecOps practices and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Contribute to the development of software prototypes as well as production components.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and incorporate best practices into software development lifecycle.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field with 8-12 years of relevant experience, or
Master's degree with 8+ years of experience. - Active U.S. Government Secret clearance is required at time of application.
- Proficiency and hands-on experience in some or all of the following technologies:
- TypeScript
- JavaScript
- Node.js
- React
- Python
- Docker
- Kubernetes
- AWS
- Azure
- Knowledge of cloud-native architectures and modern DevSecOps principles.
- Experience working within the Integrated Air and Missile Defense (IAMD) industry.
- Familiarity with defense systems such as:
- C2BMC
- IBCS
- Aegis
- Air Force Planning Tools
- Background working with Missile Defense System components or stakeholders.
- Strong ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional and geographically distributed team environment.
