Responsibilities:

  • Program, set up, and operate CNC machines to perform tasks such as drilling, grinding, milling, etc.
  • Translate engineering drawings and requirements into dimensions for production.
  • Ensure the CNC machine operates in accordance with the guidelines of the company.
  • Oversee the machines while they execute the tasks and make necessary adjustments to produce a better result.
  • Inspect and measure finished products to ensure they meet requirements.
  • Test operation of machines periodically to guarantee their smooth running.
  • Understand specifications of the task at hand by reading blueprints, mechanical drawings, etc.
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
  • Check and maintain machinery daily to ensure functionality.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience as a CNC Operator/Programmer in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in G Code, Fanuc, and 3 axis machining.
  • Experience working with aluminum, steel, and other metals.
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical documents and drawings.
  • Computer savvy with a detailed understanding of computer-aided design (CAD) software.
  • Mechanical aptitude and good math skills.
  • A keen eye for detail and results-driven approach.
  • Good communication abilities.
