Where Data Does More. Join the Snowflake team.
The Product Experience (PE) organization at Snowflake powers the unified user experience. All major Snowflake customers interact with our platform through these surfaces, making PE central to driving both customer satisfaction and revenue growth. As we evolve our product, PE's mission is to accelerate time-to-value for our users by simplifying the way they leverage Snowflake's capabilities, with a relentless focus on reliability, consistency, productivity, and innovation, especially through AI. The WEX sub-org within PE, short for workload experience team, builds product experiences for all of our major workloads: PSG (public sector, governance, security), Organization manageability, Analytics, Data Engineering, Platform (compute, networking, etc), AI/ML, and more.
We are searching for a Senior/Staff Front End or Fullstack Engineer to be a technical leader within WEX, specifically focusing on driving impactful product and infrastructure initiatives across Data Governance, Security, and Organization Manageability. This role is essential as we grow foundational products like Horizon Catalog (governance), Trust Center/authentication/IAM (security posture), and Orgs 2.0 (cross-account manageability), supporting Snowflake's ability to easily, securely, and reliably unlock value for our customers at a global scale.
WHAT YOU'LL DRIVE:
Every Snowflake employee is expected to follow the company's confidentiality and security standards for handling sensitive data. Snowflake employees must abide by the company's data security plan as an essential part of their duties. It is every employee's duty to keep customer information secure and confidential.
Snowflake is growing fast, and we're scaling our team to help enable and accelerate our growth. We are looking for people who share our values, challenge ordinary thinking, and push the pace of innovation while building a future for themselves and Snowflake.

WHAT YOU'LL DRIVE:
- Next-generation Data Governance and Security UX: Enable customers (across all customer personas) to easily discover, secure, audit, and manage their data story. You'll partner closely with backend and product teams to build engineering strategy and deliver industry defining experiences across Horizon Catalog (our unified data catalog solution), Data Lineage, Data Quality e2e experiences, all Authentication/IAM experiences, Trust Center, and several other charters, ensuring governance and security are intuitive, accessible, and actionable. You'll also be a thought leader in driving growth across these properties partnering with our PMs and
- Organization Manageability at Scale: Shape and deliver Orgs 2.0, crafting smooth admin experiences and reliable multi-account operations. This will support hundreds of organizations as they manage and scale Snowflake usage across complex environments, all from Snowsight's consolidated UIs.
- Agentic Code Writing and AI-Driven Productivity: Champion the development of agentic code systems (e.g., Cursor/custom deployed agents), bringing generative AI and code authoring to drive dev productivity.
- Eventing and Measurement Infrastructure: Architect and implement the measurement/eventing stack that underpins user analytics, adoption metrics, and in-product notifications. Your work will drive data-informed iteration and enable product teams to rapidly experiment and improve customer outcomes.
- Performance, Reliability, and Developer Experience: Take on high-visibility initiatives to improve latency, reliability, and scalability across our interfaces and supporting infrastructure. Our stack is fairly nascent and this is a great opportunity to land a big impact in standardizing our infra and engineering practices.
- Deep technical expertise in building large-scale, modern front-end and/or fullstack applications, preferably in high-impact user/productivity surfaces.
- Demonstrable experience with modern front-end frameworks and libraries, especially React. Proficiency in building complex, interactive user interfaces and a strong understanding of component-based architecture are essential.
- Solid understanding of front-end development best practices, including state management, performance optimization, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility.
- Experience architecting product and infrastructure systems at enterprise/SaaS scale, with measurable wins in performance, reliability, and user-centric design.
- Passion for cross-functional collaboration-working alongside product, security, governance, AI/ML engineering, and design teams.
- A vision for how agentic systems and AI can transform productivity and secure data ecosystems.
- Leadership in raising the technical and collaborative bar, mentoring others, and influencing best practices across domains.
