Job Details

We are seeking an experienced Technical Architect to provide architectural leadership and guidance within a defined business area. This role aligns solution development efforts with enterprise architecture vision and roadmap while driving scalable, secure, and supportable technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Architecture Leadership

Translate business strategy and architectural vision into implementable solutions

Define application, solution, infrastructure, and data architecture

Drive technology vision and roadmap within assigned applications/business area

Evaluate new technologies and external products for business fit

Establish and maintain technology standards

Lead technical designs through consensus and approval

Participate in Enterprise Architecture Community of Practice (COP)

Delivery & Execution

Support Agile / SAFe Program Increment (PI) planning

Balance short-term delivery with long-term architectural strategy

Ensure scalable, economical, and supportable solutions

Support QA readiness including automation, unit, and end-to-end testing

Troubleshoot and resolve architectural and technical issues

Leadership & Mentorship

Mentor and guide developers of varying skill levels

Act as a role model and player/coach for technical teams

Collaborate with senior business and IT leaders

Support enterprise-wide architecture evolution

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent experience

8+ years of experience in Application, Solution, Technical, or Data Architecture

Hands-on experience with greenfield development and application modernization

At least 1 year leading architecture and software design for teams

Strong experience in Agile environments (SAFe preferred)

Experience with CI/CD and open-source technologies

Strong understanding of microservices, containerization, and virtual machines
