Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in Illinois, Minnesota, California, Colorado, District of Columbia, Maryland, New York or Washington as set forth below. THE WORK:
- You'll install, troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve issues with IT network devices and infrastructure systems.
- You'll perform hands-on hardware/software work, including server room and patch room buildouts.
- You'll operate infrastructure equipment/systems in compliance with FDA regulations and guidelines.
- You'll provide tier 1-2 IT network support, including after-hours assistance.
- You'll provide tier 1-2 server administration and support for onsite virtual servers.
- You'll support the site ERP/SAP system, including iDOC monitoring, analysis, and resolution, and act as liaison with HQ.
- You'll deliver ad-hoc and after-hours production support for IT-related site issues.
- You'll maintain network and infrastructure documentation per corporate standards and support backup/restore processes.
- You'll coordinate with vendors for troubleshooting, installation, and reliability or efficiency improvements.
- You'll follow all safety, CGMP, PPE, environmental, and training requirements while providing superior customer service and performing other assigned duties.
- Onsite at client site: The work location for this role is onsite with our clients and partners to enable delivery and cultivate our client relationships.
- With all our roles, there is some in-person time for collaboration, learning and building relationships with clients, peers, leaders and communities. As an employer, we will be as flexible as possible to support your specific work/life needs.
HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field from an accredited university required.
- May consider an Associate's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field from an accredited college and seven (7) years of experience implementing & administering networks in a medium to large enterprise environment and supporting Windows based virtual servers.
- Required Certification in a networking infrastructure discipline (e.g. Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP).
BONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE:
- Trouble-shoot, diagnose, resolve & document IT network devices (switches, routers, firewalls) & infrastructure systems (Monitoring Tools, Network Management systems, etc) preferred
- Experience supporting Windows based virtual servers preferred
- Experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, food, cosmetic, beverage or relevant work preferred
- Perform life-cycle system development tasks for IT network & infrastructure systems preferred
- Operate infrastructure networks equipment/systems under FDA regulations & guidelines as they relate to computer-based information & automation systems preferred
- Adhere to IT Networking/ infrastructure policies & procedures preferred
- Responsibility for implementing IT network security preferred
- Ability to coordinate activities of IT Networking/infrastructure/Application teams preferred
- Can maintain network/infrastructure documentation in accordance with federal & corporate requirements preferred
