Job Details

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Irving, TX that is seeking an SEO Specialist. The SEO Specialist is responsible for conducting a comprehensive evaluation of the current website's SEO performance and defining a future-forward strategy to improve search visibility, optimize content, and inform the site's information architecture. This role bridges technical SEO, content strategy, and analytics to deliver actionable insights and guidance for redesign efforts.

Conduct a Current-State SEO Assessment, including:
* Site crawl analysis
* On-page SEO evaluation (tags, metadata, keyword usage)
* Technical SEO (site speed, mobile-friendliness, indexing, structured data)
* Backlink profile and authority analysis
* Google Search Console and Analytics review
* Competitive SEO benchmarking

Duties:
* Develop a Strategic SEO Roadmap that aligns with business goals and user intent
* Identify high-impact keywords and topics
* Recommend improvements to site structure and content hierarchy
* Define an optimized URL structure and metadata templates
* Provide guidance for schema markup and structured data implementation
* Create a Content and Terminology Guide to support the content team
* Establish naming conventions and keyword-optimized terminology
* Recommend content opportunities and gap areas
* Provide page-level SEO recommendations for priority pages
* Collaborate closely with UX, Content Strategy, and Development teams to ensure SEO is embedded throughout the site redesign process

REQUIREMENTS:
* 5-10 years of hands-on SEO experience, including in website redesign and migration projects
* Deep expertise in technical SEO, content optimization, and SEO analytics
* Proficiency with tools like Screaming Frog, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, Google Search Console, and Google Analytics
* Experience working in multi-site CMS environments (Optimizely, Adobe Experience Manager, etc. preferred)
* Strong understanding of information architecture, digital user journeys, and content strategy
* Ability to translate complex SEO data into business insights and strategic recommendations
* Excellent communication and documentation skills for delivering executive-ready artifacts

Deliverables for Phase 1:
* SEO Current-State Assessment Document
* A comprehensive audit of current SEO health, issues, and opportunities with prioritized findings
* SEO Strategy, Content, and Terminology Guide
* A strategic guide with keyword frameworks, on-page SEO best practices, content optimization guidelines, and terminology standardization to inform site redesign

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
