As a BI Analytics Developer, you will design and deliver business-ready analytics solutions using Databricks Lakehouse and Power BI.

BI Analytics Developer (Databricks + Power BI + AI/BI)

We are looking for a BI Analytics Developer to design and deliver business-ready analytics solutions using Databricks Lakehouse and Power BI. In this role, you will shape curated datasets in the Gold layer, build semantic models, and create dashboards that enable data-driven decision-making. You ll also work with Databricks AI/BI (Genie) to support advanced analytics.

Duties:

Develop analytic datasets and semantic models in Databricks using SQL and Unity Catalog.
Build optimized Power BI dashboards and datasets, applying best practices for modeling and performance.
Translate business requirements into dimensional models (facts, dimensions, KPIs) and ensure data quality.
Collaborate with data engineers and business teams to refine KPIs and reporting needs.

Required:

Strong SQL skills and experience with Databricks SQL, Delta tables, and Unity Catalog.
Expertise in Power BI (DAX, modeling, performance tuning).
Knowledge of dimensional modeling and semantic layer concepts.
Ability to create curated, analytics-ready datasets for dashboards and AI/BI consumption.

Preferred:

Python for data exploration.
Familiarity with Databricks AI/BI (Genie) and data governance practices.
