Job Details
Role- Infrastructure Architect
Location- Dallas, TX
Infrastructure Architect:
- Participate in technical sprints and assisting with defining the scope of as a service build model for from Infrastructure technical stack including Servers, Storage, Backup, Networks, Containers
- Assess customers environment, requirements and build Private cloud as a service Infrastructure leveraging best practices and industry leading technical stack
- Must have good understanding of applications and ability to perform the apps level assessment
- Installs and configures grid of compute, storage, and backup stacks to cater to private cloud requirements, especially around Containers as a services (CaaS)
- Perform system integration activities w.r.t. compute, storage, OpenShift, backup
- Must understand zero-trust architecture and ability to build the infrastructure keeping SASE into the configurations
- Ability to create Infrastructure as code scripts using Helm Charts, Terraform etc. to reusable and repeatable
Basic Qualifications -
- Bachelor s degree in engineering, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related field
- At least eight (10+) years of information technology work experience and experience architecting, implementing, and/or managing Hybrid Cloud environments
- Experience with virtualization for Microservices and containers-based architecture
- Experience with x86 server and converged infrastructure technologies including IBM, Dell, HP, Cisco
- Able to define the firmware build standards for installing OpenShift based platforms
- Able to define security standards for currency management. Must be familiar with the security standards
- High Availability setup for the systems deploy at labs, Datacenters and Hyperscalers equivalent infrastructure
- Working Knowledge any of the storage platforms including NetApp, EMC, IBM, HP, Pure
- Good Understanding and working knowledge of file systems and migration
- Knowledge of platform and network connectivity
- Strong skills in Cloud networking, such as configuring virtual networks, firewalls, load balancers, and VPNs
- Good knowledge of Azure/AWS/Google/Oracle PaaS services and know how to leverage them for cloud solutions
- Proficiency in Azure/AWS/Google/Oracle DevOps or GitHub and know how to use them for continuous integration, continuous delivery, pipelines, and Git version control.
- Experience in using Infrastructure as Code and Git source control to provision and deploy cloud resources
- Automation scripting skills with PowerShell
- Knowledge of Terraform for cross-platform cloud provisioning
- Specialization in Kubernetes/Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) /RedHat OpenShift for container orchestration
- Experience in migrating and transforming existing systems to the cloud using Azure tools and best practices.
- Proficiency in Azure DevOps or GitHub and know how to use them for continuous integration, continuous delivery, pipelines, and Git version control.
- Experience in using Infrastructure as Code (ARM/Bicep) and Git source control to provision and deploy cloud resources
- Automation scripting skills with PowerShell and Azure CLI
- Create, validate / review solutions and effort estimates for Hybrid Cloud transformation opportunities across the globe.
- Migration & DR Tools
- Responsible for technical, pricing and transformation solution end to end for the infrastructure-based towers (Wintel & Linux, Server Consolidation, Migration etc.)
- Act as a single point of contact for any Architecture related work based on Hybrid Cloud Technologies
- Experience with Identify Management across Cloud and Datacenters
- Must have exposure to the cloud either Azure/AWS/Google. Should have good understanding of the IaaS, PaaS Services, and exposure on migrating the workload to Cloud.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Minimum 8-10 years as a service platform build experience
- Minimum five years of experience with Hands-on build and architect highly scalable infrastructure solutions
- 5 years of relevant experience in a DevSecOps/Reliability Engineering role
Certifications
- Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA)/RedHat OpenShift
- Must have Microsoft Azure or AWS Solution Architect Certified
- Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE)/ RHCSA
- Terraform
- Azure Certification (AZ-104 or AZ-305) or similar certification for other cloud services
