Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Communications & Change Specialist to support the success of a large-scale Oracle Utilities transformation program. This role is critical in designing and executing communication and change management strategies that foster stakeholder alignment, engagement, and adoption across the organization. The ideal candidate will bring a structured approach to managing change, strong written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to operate effectively across business units and leadership levels.
Key Responsibilities:
Change Management Strategy:
- Apply structured change management methodologies (e.g., Prosci, ADKAR) to assess impacts, plan interventions, and support successful adoption of Oracle Utilities solutions.
- Support the development of change impact assessments, stakeholder readiness evaluations, and mitigation plans.
Communications Planning & Execution:
- Design and deliver comprehensive communication plans aligned with program milestones and business needs.
- Develop a variety of content including executive messaging, email newsletters, FAQs, talking points, presentations, and internal portal content.
- Tailor messaging to diverse audiences (executives, back office, field staff, IT, etc.) to ensure clarity and relevance.
Stakeholder Engagement & Readiness:
- Identify impacted stakeholder groups and maintain stakeholder engagement plans.
- Partner with functional leads and the PMO to ensure change initiatives are well-integrated into program timelines.
- Coordinate training, roadshows, town halls, and other engagement activities to prepare the organization for change.
Collaboration & Program Integration:
- Act as a liaison between business units, project teams, and communication channels to ensure cohesive messaging and engagement strategies.
- Support change network development and coaching of change agents or champions across departments.
Qualifications:-
- 5+ years of experience in change management and/or communications roles supporting large-scale business or technology transformations.
- Strong writing, editing, and content development skills across various formats (e.g., newsletters, PowerPoint, executive memos).
- Experience using structured change management methodologies such as Prosci, Kotter, or similar.
- Demonstrated ability to build relationships, influence stakeholders, and drive engagement across all levels of the organization.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with high attention to detail.
- Preferred: Familiarity with Oracle Cloud ERP or Oracle Utilities implementations, especially in utility sectors such as electric, water, or gas.
- Preferred: Experience supporting field operations or customer service transformation initiatives within regulated industries.
