Job Description
Base-2 Solutions is seeking a Technical System Engineer - Skill Level 2 to join an existing DevOps team that is working to build out a Kubernetes environment to host ANSWERLAKE services across multiple platforms.

Base-2 Solutions is seeking a Technical System Engineer - Skill Level 2 to join an existing DevOps team that is working to build out a Kubernetes environment to host ANSWERLAKE services across multiple platforms.
Qualifications
- Fourteen (14) years experience as a SWE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
- Four (4) years of additional SWE experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
Required Skills
- Experience with Linux CLI.
- Experience with building out Kubernetes infrastructure including configuring network policies within a cluster.
- Experience with system sustainment and compliance including system patching and SSP management.
- Experience with corporate STE/STN security compliance policies and procedures.
- Experience using the Atlassian tool suite (Confluence, Jira, etc.).
Desired Skills
- Understanding of or experience with tools such as Terraform, Salt, and Ansible.
- Understanding of or experience with tools such as Kubernetes, Rancher, Helm.
- Understanding of or experience with Elasticsearch and Kibana dashboards.
- Understanding of or experience with Grafana dashboards.
- Security certification (CWIP).
