Job Title - Network Engineer III

Work Hours & Location: 8AM - 5PM | 6230 E Stassney Ln, Austin, TX 78744

Onsite Requirement: 4-5 days/week - Local candidates only

Key Responsibilities

Install network hardware, components, and cabling

Troubleshoot and resolve network issues

Rack and stack hardware onsite/offsite as needed

Provide technical support via multiple channels

Collaborate with business units and project managers

Support network design, implementation, and issue resolution

Ensure quality, productivity, and turnaround expectations are met

Provide after-hours support and complete ad hoc duties

Optimize network infrastructure performance and reliability

Conduct LAN/WAN resource and capacity planning

Minimum Qualifications

Network:

8 yrs: Designing and improving network solutions

8 yrs: Installing/supporting routers, switches, DNS, DHCP, WAN accelerators

8 yrs: Wireless design and configuration

Voice:

4 yrs: VoIP engineering or telecom experience

4 yrs: SIP, RTP, and VoIP protocol knowledge

4 yrs: Cisco Call Manager or similar platforms

2 yrs: TCP/IP, NAT, QoS knowledge

4 yrs: Voice quality analysis and optimization

Preferred Skills

Network:

5 yrs: Advanced knowledge of EIGRP, STP, BGP, VPC, mLACP, MLag, VRF, IPv4, IGMP, PIM, etc.

2 yrs: Cisco DNA Center experience

Self-driven, responsible, and able to manage complex projects independently

Voice:

2 yrs: Cloud-based VoIP/UCaaS experience

4 yrs: VoIP + encryption/firewall config experience

4 yrs: SIP, H.323, VoLTE

4 yrs: Network monitoring/VoIP performance tools

4 yrs: Telephony hardware knowledge (IP phones, gateways)

4 yrs: Certifications (e.g., CCNA - Collaboration or Enterprise)
