Job Title: IT Support Specialist
Location: 100% Onsite - Corporate Office in Moorpark, CA
Type: Contract-to-Hire (CTH)
Salary Range: $60,000 - $75,000
Start Date: ASAP
About the Role
We are seeking a hands-on, proactive IT Support Specialist to join our lean IT team. You'll work side-by-side with our IT Director in a fully onsite role supporting a dynamic corporate environment of approximately 120-140 users. This is a unique opportunity for someone early in their IT career who wants to build deep technical skills, contribute to high-impact infrastructure projects, and grow within a transparent, feedback-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day Level 1 and Level 2 IT support across the organization
- Troubleshoot hardware/software issues (Windows only - no Mac environment)
- Manage basic networking tasks
- Participate in the migration of a legacy Microsoft 2008 server
- Support ongoing Intune asset inventory integration
- Assist with ISO 2001 readiness projects
- Handle requests related to Unify badge access and C3X phone systems
- Help with implementation and setup of a new ITSM tool (FreshService or Zendesk)
- Support Sophos-based firewall and networking infrastructure
- Provide documentation for troubleshooting, asset management, and process flows
Ideal Candidate Profile
Technical Skills
- Strong troubleshooting abilities (hardware, software, printers, networking)
- Comfortable working with Windows 10 & 11, Office 365, Azure, Intune
- Experience with or interest in networking, server support, and systems migration
- Familiarity with Sophos (firewall/security), NinjaOne (desirable)
- Basic project skills and ability to work through ambiguity
Preferred Certifications (Nice to Have)
- CompTIA Network+
- CCNA
- ITIL Foundations
