Note: Interviews will likely be conducted virtually, but the selected candidate will be required to report onsite.

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Salesforce Senior Administrator/Developer to join our IT team. The ideal candidate is a certified Salesforce professional with strong expertise in both administration and development, capable of troubleshooting critical issues, implementing best practices, and mentoring junior developers. This role will ensure the stability, scalability, and long-term success of our Salesforce environment.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the Salesforce subject matter expert, providing advanced troubleshooting and resolving complex application issues.
  • Perform a comprehensive review of the current Salesforce application to identify root causes and recommend corrective actions.
  • Establish and enforce standards for development and deployment, including:
    • Code reviews and quality assurance
    • Naming conventions for objects, fields, and code
    • Security and data access best practices
  • Design, develop, and implement solutions using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and other Salesforce technologies.
  • Create and maintain detailed documentation of development and administrative processes.
  • Mentor junior Salesforce developers and ensure adherence to established standards.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, design solutions, and deliver scalable, high-quality applications.
  • Stay current with Salesforce releases, features, and industry best practices.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
  • 5+ years of hands-on Salesforce experience (Administration & Development).
  • Active Salesforce certifications (e.g., Administrator, Platform Developer I/II, Application Architect).
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues.
  • Strong expertise in Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Web Components (LWC).
  • In-depth knowledge of Salesforce administration, including security models, data management, and user management.
  • Solid understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and mentoring skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Salesforce DevOps tools (e.g., Salesforce DX, Copado, Gearset).
  • Experience working in small IT team environments.
  • Salesforce Application Architect or System Architect certification.
