Position: Xceptor Developer
Location: Charlotte, NC || Chandler/Phoenix, AZ || Minneapolis, MN || Dallas, TX || New York, NY || New Jersey (hybrid)
Duration: 12+ month Contract (Possible conversion to Full Time)

Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Xceptor Developer to design, configure, and implement automated data and process solutions using the Xceptor platform. The ideal candidate will have proven expertise in building, re-configuring, and optimising Xceptor workflows to support operational efficiency, data transformation, and reconciliation processes within financial services or similar domains.

Responsibilities:
  • Design, build, and configure end-to-end solutions in Xceptor, including workflows, data mappings, validations, and business rules.
  • Reconfigure existing Xceptor solutions to accommodate evolving business requirements, regulatory changes, or process enhancements.
  • Develop and maintain data ingestion, transformation, and output processes across multiple data sources and formats (CSV, XML, Excel, APIs, databases, etc.).
  • Implement automation logic and business rules within the Xceptor framework to streamline manual and complex operations.
  • Collaborate with business analysts, operations teams, and IT to translate functional requirements into technical designs.
  • Conduct unit testing, troubleshooting, and optimisation of Xceptor workflows to ensure accuracy and performance.
  • Document configuration, mapping logic, and solution architecture in accordance with internal development standards.
  • Support production deployment, monitoring, and ongoing maintenance of Xceptor-based solutions.

Qualifications:
  • Hands-on experience with Xceptor, including building, configuring, and re-configuring solutions (minimum 2-3 years preferred).
  • Strong understanding of data integration, transformation, and reconciliation concepts.
  • Proficiency with SQL, Excel formulas/macros, and handling large datasets.
  • Experience working with financial operations, reconciliation, or reporting processes (e.g., settlements, cash management, trade processing).
  • Familiarity with API integration and working with structured/unstructured data sources.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and documentation skills.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills in a cross-functional environment.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Prior experience in banking, asset management, or insurance domains.
  • Exposure to workflow automation tools or data processing platforms beyond Xceptor (e.g., Alteryx, SSIS, Informatica).
  • Understanding of BSA/AML, regulatory reporting, or financial data controls (a plus).

Pay Range: $65 - $75

The specific compensation for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
