  • Develop and enforce data governance policies, business glossaries, and stewardship workflows in alignment with enterprise data strategy.
  • Collaborate with data owners, stewards, and IT teams to operationalize governance across data domains.
  • Integrate Collibra with upstream/downstream systems (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks, AWS, Palantir Foundry) to automate metadata harvesting and lineage tracking.
  • Define and monitor data quality metrics, issue management processes, and remediation workflows.
  • Support regulatory compliance efforts (GDPR, HIPAA, SOX, etc.) by ensuring proper data lineage and access controls.
  • Provide Collibra platform administration, including workflow design, configuration, and role-based access management.
  • Deliver user training and enablement programs to increase adoption and governance maturity across business units.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 6+ years of experience in Data Governance, Data Management, or Metadata Management roles.
  • Collibra Ranger Certification (mandatory) demonstrating deep expertise in Collibra Data Intelligence Cloud.
  • Hands-on experience with Collibra Data Catalog, Data Lineage, Data Quality, and Policy Center modules.
  • Strong understanding of data governance frameworks (DAMADMBOK, DCAM) and metadata management best practices.
  • Experience with data integration and ETL tools (Informatica, Talend, Glue, etc.) and APIs for metadata exchange.
  • Familiarity with cloud data ecosystems (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform) and modern data platforms (Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery).
  • Solid knowledge of data privacy and compliance regulations relevant to the insurance, financial, or healthcare sectors.
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Additional Collibra certifications (Collibra Expert, Workflow Engineer, or Metadata Management).
  • Experience implementing Collibra in large-scale enterprise or regulated environments (e.g., insurance, banking, healthcare).
  • Exposure to data stewardship, data quality management, and business glossary development.
  • Knowledge of Python, REST APIs, or Collibra Connect / MuleSoft integrations.
