Job Details

Position: Data Power Developer

Location: Fort Mill, SC (Hybrid, 3x a week )

Duration: 12+ months contract

-10+ years of experience on Data Power X2 appliances secure integrations.

-Strong knowledge of DataPower proxy implementations/Design, DataPower Administration, Appliances Initialization, Setup, and Networking.

- Experience with implementation of security (OAuth 2.0 / WS-Security / Authentication and Authorization / JWTs), etc., and knowledge of DataPower Gateway scripts / XSL Transformations, etc.

  • Provide innovative integration solutions and be able to define the common standard frameworks.
  • Good amount of knowledge on Protocols / Orchestration / Mediation / Encryption / Description, etc.
  • Good knowledge of TLS Certs / Renewal / Coordination with teams to seamlessly upgrade in lower/production environments.
  • Drive through the configurations of each domain/appliance and make sure to work with app teams on API cleanup and maintain pristine configurations.
  • Deep dive into error handling along with more detailed troubleshooting knowledge of APIs.
  • Debugging skills should be very high in identifying the root causes and documenting production RCAs and Production Tasks.
  • Ability to work with many application teams and educate/guide the Client on secure integration design patterns.
  • Drive initiatives of Client's new Data Center, DataPower, and WMQ builds.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams (ex, Security/Infra Architecture/Scale/EA/App Dev and define the best routing patterns between/across the multiple Data Centers.
  • Good knowledge of CI/CD Dev Ops automations using (Team City / Octopus / GIT Actions / Terraform / Python / Ansible).
  • Good knowledge of SOMA/REST management automations on code/config migrations to higher environments.
  • Good knowledge of setting up/installing IBM WebSphere MQ environments.
  • Set up failover / HA on WMQ environments.
  • Should have setup and operating knowledge on DataPower Ops Dashboard (DPOD).
  • Should have a good amount of API debugging skills through Dynatrace/Solar Winds, etc.
  • Must have a positive attitude, quality team building skills, quick learner, have good interpersonal skills, and soft skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal, and visual communications skills.
  • Should have good documentation skills to draft the strategies/migration plans/runbooks/knowledge articles, etc, using Confluence
