Job Title: Senior Digital Operations Analyst Azure & Cloud Infrastructure
Location: Calgary, Canada
Duration/Term: Long Term Contract
Are you passionate about designing resilient cloud infrastructure and driving operational excellence? Join our team as a Senior Digital Operations Analyst focused on Azure, where you ll architect and implement secure, scalable, and high-performing solutions that support critical business operations both on premise (VMware & Azure Local) and in the cloud (Azure & AWS).
Key Responsibilities:
- Architect, design, and deploy Azure-based solutions with a focus on networking, secure resource configuration, cost avoidance and performance optimization.
- Collaborate with application support and operations teams to ensure uptime SLAs are met through resilient infrastructure.
- Implement with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and automate deployments via GitHub Actions and CI/CD pipelines.
- Leverage containerization and serverless compute to modernize workloads and improve scalability as well as reduce costs.
- Support and troubleshoot Azure Local and VMware on premise environments and integrate with physical on-premises systems and cloud environments.
- Analyze logs, monitor cloud performance, and recommend automation enhancements.
- Maintain tracking tools such as ServiceNow and Jira, and optionally use Power BI and Power Automate for reporting and workflow automation.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Degree in Computer Science or Technical College diploma.
- 10+ years of IT operations and/or project execution experience, with deep expertise in Microsoft Azure.
- 5 8 years working within the Azure cloud platform.
- 3 5 years of experience with containers (OpenShift or Kubernetes preferred).
- 1 3 years of automation coding experience (Terraform preferred).
- Strong understanding of hybrid networking and data flows to external vendors.
- Proven ability to secure Azure resources and apply best practices in cloud security.
- Familiarity with Windows Server, RHEL, VMware, Azure Local and storage technologies.
- Experience with Ansible YAML is a plus
Location & Work Details :
- Based in our Calgary head office
- Regular 40-hour work week, Monday to Friday.
- On-call responsibilities are part of this role.
- Security-sensitive position requiring a criminal history check.
